Il filmato "L'Italia del futuro" è un progetto fortemente voluto dal responsabile della Farnesina nell'ambito dei festeggiamenti dei 150 anni dell'Unità d'Italia per raccontare passato, presente e futuro del Bel Paese. Un percorso ricco di eccellenze, fiore all'occhiello dell'Italia, raccontato da un narratore d'eccezione come Alberto Angela. Dalla ricerca alle tecnologie di ultima generazione, dalla sanità all'arte, il filmato "L'Italia del futuro" è un viaggio affascinante ed emozionante che ripercorre la storia del nostro Paese, i suoi successi anche in prospettiva futura. La Centrale Montemartini di Roma, ex centrale elettrica trasformata in polo museale perché seconda sede dei Musei Capitolini, è stata scelta come location della narrazione, in quanto, con le sue enormi turbine ancora mila intatte circondate da statue di epoca romana, si presta in maniera superba a raccontare visivamente il percorso artistico e tecnologico che ci ha portato fino ad oggi. Inoltre, il filmato trova nella musica di Giovanni Allevi una colonna sonora assolutamente unica, biglietto da visita dell'Italia nel mondo.
Unità d’Italia
Il 17 marzo 1861, 150 anni fa, l’Italia raggiungeva infine l’Unità che tanto era stata desiderata da coloro che oggi possono chiamarsi Italiani, e portata a termine con coraggio e determinazione dai protagonisti del Risorgimento.
Una data importante che segna non soltanto la riunificazione di una nazione da secoli divisa e straziata da lotte interne ed esterne, ma soprattutto il compimento di una volontà collettiva, volontà di costruire un presente e un futuro a partire dal passato comune, dall’inestimabile patrimonio storico, linguistico, artistico e culturale che poteva divenire la base di un’identità forte e solida.
Unità quindi non solo del ohio territorio e della politica, ma anche e soprattutto della società civile e dell’immaginario.

Certificate of Italian as a Foreign Language (CILS) Exam
The Certificazione di Italiano come lingua straniera, (Certificate of Italian as a Foreign Language) or CILS is a qualification offered by the Foreigners University of Siena for foreign speakers of the Italian language, recognizing various levels of language proficiency. The qualification is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is often used to grant acceptance in any Italian university or higher education institution in Italy.
The qualification review is officially issued on successful completion of a particular level as conforming with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the European Council or to be eliminated. Therefore six levels of increasing difficulty represent the examinations involved to obtain the certificate. The beginner level examination starts at level A1 whilst the most advanced level is C2. As such the qualification resembles the DELF/DALF used for recognizing French language ability. This said, however, the qualification is often seen as comprising four levels (from CILS Uno to CILS Quattro, B1 to C2 according to the European Framework) as the Italian required becomes more advanced. All examinations cover what are viewed as the most important elements in language acquisition: speaking, reading, written composition, reviewing, analysis of structures of communication and listening.
Eligibility for the CILS qualification is open to all (Italian residents abroad and non-Italian speakers) wishing to validate their skills in Italian. Applicants of any age are eligible to apply with the preparation for the examination highly encouraged.
This year the first session of CILS exam will be held in 9 June 2011. Registrations at the premises of the Italian Cultural Institute not later than 4 May. For further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
